The project focuses on nucleosynthetic Ru isotope anomalies in meteorites in order to study the origin and composition of late-accreted materials, terrestrial building blocks and the dynamics of planet formation.

About Me

Before joinign the TRR, I obtained my PhD in Isotope Geochemistry/Cosmochemistry in the Isotope Geology group (Prof. Dr. K. Mezger) at the University of Bern (CH) and was working some time as a research assistant (Meteoritics) at the Naturhistorisches Museum Bern (CH). Currently I'm working as a postdoc in TRR 170 Project B3 at the Institut für Planetologie, WWU.

My main research interests are

  • Tracing the Late Vaneer using Ru, Mo nucleosynthetic isotope anomalies
  • Chronology of Early Solar System formation
  • Chondrule formation
  • Formation of protoplanets and the terrestrial planets
